#BSc Economics and Statistics
#Molecular Biology
Molecular biology is
another captivating course that can lead you into labs where you can leap the
fruits that you have been sowing all that long. Involving further discussion
about human consumption and the structure of different chemical combinations
for both industrial and human discussion this course requires sharp minds for
perfect results and by perfect I mean; a student who is willing and dedicated
to be in the lab for the rest of his/ her life
#Industrial Chemistry
More of molecular
biology but industrial chemistry is more of technical compared to molecular
biology. This absorbs students in to food production, beer production, medicine
production industries and any other industry such as production of nuclear
substances. Industrial chemistry students have a high probability of securing a
well-paying job though one has to tarmark looking for that job.
#Civil and Mechanical Engineering
Call them the brick,
mortal and dirt students but these are the guys that build the roads where we
ride on and bungalows and skyscrapers that host offices we work from. One it
was said to be manly course but with evolvement of time, ladies also have
chipped on this ‘Tough Course’ as it is referred by many. Civil and mechanical
engineering will lend you many years behind the four walled corners but you
will enjoy the fruits of hard work after studies are over.
#Applied Chemistry
This involves deeper
study about chemistry and with this students tend to find jobs mostly in lab.
It is more or less equivalent to industrial chemistry but industrial chemistry
is termed to be broad and more prestigious than the applied chemistry. It will
take you to a decent job but you will have to labor hard to get some good GPA
for you to find some decent job in a good organization
#Water Engineering
Water is life!!!! I say
again water is life! There is no one time that a human being will drink diesel
for quenching his/ her thirst. Water is an essential commodity and students
sitting in class to study this course I would recommend you to keep up for you
are on the right track. This course will give you skills on well digging (in
cases of arid areas), water conservation, water treatment, water storage and
methods of managing underground water. Actually government should focus more on
technical courses like such.
#Banking and Finance
This is a course that
is more diversified to self-employment if it will not lead you into bank. Banks
for now have a wide range of students to absorb into banks and that’s why
taking a course in banking and finance is not a straight guarantee for you to
sit behind those money walled structure students taking banking and finance
should focus also on more professional courses such as CPA (Certified Public
Accountants) C.F.A (Certified Financial Analysts) ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
#Actuarial science
This is more like
statistics course. According to me, this was supposed to be two or four
complete units to be studied either under pure statistics, pure mathematics or
both applied mathematics and applied statistics. This at least would give
students some fair academic papers and highly skillful students could be
released to the job market with immediate absorption.
#Catering and Hotel Management
No one stays hungry.
This might seem as a fake course but with seriousness with will lead you into
10 star hotels all-round the global. I have witnessed
guys who are highly comfortable in the tourism industry and they were channeled
in there by this course. It’s a course which involves high interlinking between
individuals in other economics sectors and cultural demographics
