Things to consider before placing that application to study that course

Things to consider before placing that application to study that course

I have witnessed students crying foul after joining University. This moment comes after one discovers that who he/ she expected is no longer what is happening. Most find themselves to blame for being in the wrong institution that they never thought would be as they thought. Of significance, parental and expert guidance should be looked upon at all cost. Cases of students dropping out of university or taking interfaculty and inter university transfers are numerous. According to me they will continue until expert advice is imposed on the fresh students joining university in the coming years. On the other hand this has resulted into certain crisis in the economic view. For instance, we are living in the world that banks are employing teachers and schools are employing bankers. Why? because of misguidedness that our students are getting while preparing to join institutions of higher learning. Some of universities that we are having on this century never even worry about quality of education they give to students. These are universities that brag on their websites how qualified their staff is but only to get shocking revelations that masters students are teaching PhD students. Only the students in our institutions today can reveal what they go through those academic corridors. Parents and prospective students who are yet to join institutions of higher learning, I would recommend one to do a thorough research on the course that one wants to undertake, in job market status since most students are almost wasting 19 years of study and only to go home and start disturbing their parents since they have no alternative in life. Mostly of concern is the institution that one is attending his or her classes or where he or she wants to enroll for that particular course. “We only live once and life is a script that has no rehearsal, be smart in everything you do” – Muthamia Mbui
