Facebook rolls up a new feature to silence annoying friends for a month.

We all have those nagging friends that even after blocking them on Facebook they end up creating pseudo accounts and start stalking you once more. Some bother with nonsense and uncivilized feeds on your timeline that you can’t keep up with.  Thanks to Facebook technicians that they have brought up a new feature that helps you keep away such unwanted crap around you for almost a month.

The giant company on 8th launched snooze which is a new feature that lets you hide people, brands and groups you don’t want for a period of up to 30 days. Facebook will send you a notification to alert you so that you can be prepared or set to renew the snooze for an additional period of time after the first quiet period sets to expire.

The feature came into limelight on September when its testing began but it’s not a long lasting solution to jerks who keep feeding in nonsense on your timeline but it’s all good if you want to silence someone for a short period of time maybe a family member or a relative. We hope as time passes by Facebook will continue to roll out more features that will help minimize the interaction of increasing disturbance from certain individuals both known and unknown. This should be the case of other social media platforms such as Instagram; Twitter where users feed is displayed in other people’s timeline. The feature is found on the top right drop down menu of a post. Try it and enjoy the latest feature of Facebook in town and mute off the people keep on adding unwanted feeds on your timeline.

Read and Share. Sharing is caring.
